Since schools closed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we’ve been committed to helping children and families who don’t have the resources they need and are struggling with learning at home. We recognise the impact on children’s mental health from school closures and we know that activities like playing games, making crafts and doing sports are really helpful for their emotional wellbeing.

We are partnering with primary schools across Cheshire West and also Knutsford in Cheshire East to distribute resources to families. But we also welcome direct enquiries from families who are looking for help with ideas, activities and materials to help keep their children engaged with learning over the weeks ahead.

So that we can ensure our funding is allocated as intended, please specify which school your child attends. If your child doesn’t attend school e.g. they usually go to a pre-school, or are home-schooled, please select that option below. We can only fulfil one request per family, to make sure we can support as many people as possible. Please don’t submit a request more than once.

If you have more than one child that you would like to request resources for, please include all the children’s details in one form, you do not need to complete a separate form for each child.

Since relaunching this form, we have received and fulfilled over 1900 requests. Your request has been added to the list and we will respond to you, but please be aware that we are processing a large volume of requests and it may be 2 weeks before we can provide the resources to you. If you are really struggling and need an urgent response, please email us directly at

As we are working to ensure the funding is reaching the people who need our support the most, please only share the link to this form with families who you know are unable to provide their children with the resources they need to learn successfully at home.

Please ensure you have given us your full address including your email, to enable us to deal with your request correctly.

Please note, by completing this form you are giving permission for Passion for Learning to contact you by phone or email if we have further enquiries related to your request. We will be handling your data in line with our Data Protection and Privacy Policies, which are available via this link.

Our work is made possible with funding from the Steve Morgan Foundation, Cheshire Community Foundation, BBC Children in Need, Westminster Foundation, CWAC and the National Lottery Community Fund. We are hugely grateful for their support.
